BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 19. Iran has attracted investment worth 24 trillion rials (about $571 million) in the industrial parks of Qazvin Province in the north of the country, from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022) to February 19, 2023, Director General of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization’s branch in Qazvin Province, Reza Saffari told IRNA, Trend reports.

During 10 months, 164 investors were attracted to invest in the province's industrial parks, and overall, 72 hectares of land were allocated in this regard, Saffari said.

The director general added that a total of 3,300 people are estimated be provided with jobs by the setting up new manufacturing enterprises in the industrial parks.

According to him, 14 hectares of land have been allocated for investors in Hakimiyeh industrial park of the province, 14 hectares of land in Khorramdasht industrial park, 12 hectares of land in Liya industrial park and 12 hectares of land in Qazvin industrial park.

There are 20 industrial parks in Iran’s Qazvin Province, and approximately 1,000 manufacturing enterprises operate in these industrial parks.
