BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 22. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of Isfahan Province increased by 13 percent in value and 16 percent in volume, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through February 19, 2023), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director General for Isfahan Province Customs Office Rasoul Kuhestani told reporters, Trend reports citing IRNA.

The director general said that more than 2.13 million tons of goods worth approximately $1.37 billion were exported through the province's five customs in 11 months.

He noted that a total of 813 kinds of non-oil products were exported through the province’s customs for 11 months, mainly steel and related products worth $562 million, petrochemical products worth $208 million, dairy products worth $114 million, and carpets worth $110 million.

Kuhestani added that the mentioned products were exported to 90 countries.

According to him, $547 million worth of non-oil products via the province’s customs were exported to Iraq, $238 million worth to Pakistan, $146 million worth to Türkiye, $82 million worth to Afghanistan and $82 million worth to the UAE in 11 months.

“In overall, the products worth $752 million were exported through the Isfahan border checkpoint, worth $367 million through the Kashan border checkpoint, worth $186 million through the customs in the territory of the Esfahan Steel Company, worth $57 million through the customs in the territory of the Mobarakeh Steel Company, and worth $8 million through the customs of Shahid Beheshti International Airport in 11 months,” Kuhestani stressed.
