Iran’s Kermanshah Province observes decrease in imports

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 30. The imports to Iran’s Kermanshah Province in the west of the country, dropped by 3 percent in value and 5 percent in volume, during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2023), compared to the same period last year, an official of the Kermanshah Province Customs Office Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh said, Trend reports.

Abbaszadeh also stated that the province imported goods worth $68.8 million and weighing 9,710 tons.

The official added that the imported goods mainly consisting of equipment, spare parts, raw materials, and catalysts.

There are 2 border checkpoints and 5 border markets in Kermanshah Province, Iran.

Overall, Iran imported 20.9 million tons of goods worth $36 billion in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2023). This is an increase of 12.6 percent in value and 6.21 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
