BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 20. The non-oil trade turnover between Iran and Kyrgyzstan amounted to 49,400 tons, valued at roughly $68.4 million in the first ten months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2023 through January 20, 2024), Trend reports.
Data from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) shows that Iran's non-oil trade with Kyrgyzstan for the reporting period rose by 5.2 percent in value and fell by 5 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
In the same period of the previous Iranian year, the non-oil trade turnover between the two countries stood at 52,000 tons worth approximately $65 million.
The main traded goods between the two countries were petrochemical products, agricultural products, phosphoric acid, etc.
During the 10th month alone (December 22, 2023 through January 20, 2024), the countries traded 4,970 tons of goods valued at $5.82 million.
Overall, Iran's non-oil trade with the rest of the world was $94.8 billion in the first 10 months of this year, equivalent to approximately 146 million tons of commodities.
