Azerbaijan to head off to Caucasus Investment Forum in Russia's Grozny

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 22. The Azerbaijani delegation will take part in the Caucasus Investment Forum (CIF) to be held in Grozny (Russia's Chechen Republic) on July 22–24, a source in the government told Trend.

The forum's main theme is Greater Caucasus, from sea to sea.

The main concept of the CIF is regional development and interregional interaction.

According to the CIF-2024 website, the event will be attended by representatives from the tourism industry, agribusiness, transportation and logistics companies, banking sector, and construction companies from the North Caucasus, Southern Federal District, CIS countries, and Caspian and Black Sea states.

Meanwhile, the Roscongress Foundation stated earlier that the event might draw some three thousand participants, with delegations from Azerbaijan, Iran, Türkiye, and other foreign countries already invited.

The forum's website reads that, CIF-2024 will serve as a platform for talks and commercial contracts related to the development of investment projects and public-private partnerships.

The first Caucasus Investment Fair was held in May 2023 in Mineralnye Vody and was attended by representatives from 15 countries. Over 30 events were held as part of the business program. About 50 agreements were signed at the venue.
