BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 11. The memorandum between C4IR Azerbaijan and Binance focuses on advancing Metaverse, Blockchain, and Web3 technologies in Azerbaijan, Executive Director of C4IR Azerbaijan, Fariz Jafarov told media, Trend reports.
According to Jafarov, the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR Azerbaijan) is actively working to attract leading global technology partners and implement various digital economy projects in Azerbaijan.
“Our priority is to develop human capital in this sector.
In accordance, we have signed a memorandum of understanding with Binance, a major cryptocurrency platform. The memorandum outlines key areas such as advancing Metaverse, Blockchain, and Web3 technologies in Azerbaijan and introducing educational programs related to artificial intelligence (AI), NFTs, virtual tools used in gaming, digital assets, and payment systems,” Jafarov stated.
A significant component of the collaboration is Binance Academy, which boasts over 20 million users worldwide. The academy's programs will be adapted to the Azerbaijani market to increase public awareness of these technologies.
Additionally, the private sector and other economic actors will be provided with support to disseminate knowledge about Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.
The Executive Director also mentioned that C4IR plans to work closely with universities and conduct joint educational programs.
“Online and offline conferences, training sessions, and workshops will be organized with both local and international partners. These initiatives aim to enhance the contribution of Metaverse, Blockchain, Web3, and AI technologies to Azerbaijan’s digital economy, thereby supporting national economic diversification and sustainable growth,” he added.
