The Ministry of Agriculture (MA) of Azerbaijan has banned officially import of meat and other food products to the country, particularly, chicken, eggs and various poultry from Kazakhstan, China, Japan, Pakistan and a number of Asian countries.
The main reason for these measures is the outbreak of the bird’s flu in these countries, the Ministry told Trend.
The Ministry also noted, in general, there is no import of these products from the above-mentioned countries for some period of time. В"We sent official notifications to the frontier veterinary services of the ban on chicken and meat products import to Azerbaijan from Eastern countries”, the state body underlined.
