From 1 January 2006 all freight carriages, entering the territory of Azerbaijan, will pass special balances, installed in the railway station �Yalama’, the Azerbaijan State Railway Department (ASRD) told Trend.
Upon passing the procedures the owner will have present a reference on actual weight of cargo and it will be attached to document on deliveries.
According to Teymur Mammadov, vice head of the Transportation Processes Department of the ASRD, the events will enable to remove the cases of under-payment for big cargos. “The payment for difference in the volumes of declared and actual cargo will be collected from the owner of the cargo, which will receive in the station appointed,” he said.
