The specific weight of the insurance market in GDP on the results of 2005 will make up 0,8% by preliminary estimates, the head of the state insurance supervision department under the Finance Ministry Beybala Hankishiyev told Trend. In 2004 this index was at the level of 0,7%.
According to him, the growth tempos at the insurance services market are expected to be at the level of 30%, though the 31% growth was observed during 9 months. Hankishiyev thinks, operating of the mortgage crediting in the country will also expand the activities of the insurance companies.
