The Azerbaijan State Railway (ASR) plans to sign an agreement in 2006 with the Russian Railways Joint Stock Company (JSC), On passenger and freight traffic by the railway transport, ASR told Trend. The sides have currently no differences under the agreement conditions. The document was initialed by the sides in mid-2005.
The goal of the agreement signing is establishing mutual relations in arranging international traffic between Azerbaijan and Russia and the railway conveyance of transit goods via the territories of the both countries.
