The Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan prepared and submitted to the countrys government proposals on funding the agricultural sector of the economy, the Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev told Trend.
According to him, direct and indirect funding of the agriculture is performed in many countries worldwide. In Azerbaijan is it necessary. The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Finance will also submit their proposals shortly.
As Babayev noted, the agricultural sectors funding is to be targeted, by the view of the Ministry representatives. In case the decision is taken, relevant changes will be introduced into the budget, the Minister said.
