During January-June 2006, Caspian Marine Line of Azerbaijan transported in general 7.06mln ton of cargos, up 357kt over year, Trend reports.
From this amount, tankers transported 4.94mln ton, ferries 1.44mln ton and dry cargo vessels 680kt. From total amount 6.49mln ton were transported in Caspian Sea, up 308kt over year. 560kt were transported outside Caspian Sea, up 39kt over year.
3.443mln ton of cargos transported via Eurasian transport corridor during the reported period, from which 2.941mln ton are transit cargos. 6,200 passengers have been transported for this period.
