AtaHolding expands its activity outside Azerbaijan

Ata Holding announced about the plans to expand its activities outside Azerbaijan. The first representations of Holding were created in Georgia and Turkey, Ahmat Erentok, chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Holding, told Trend.

At the moment, the preparatory works are being done for opening representations in Russia, especially in Moscow and then Saint-Petersburg. The activity in this direction is planned to be realized in 2007, Erentok told.

Creating representations, our plans dont include puting investment into the economy of these countries. At first, the attention will be paid toward development of mutual trade, export of Azerbaijanis products, particularly produced in enterprises of Ata Holding, he added.

According to Erentok, today the task of Ata Trading is to strengthen trade relations with Russia, Turkey and other countries. Ata Trading holds negotiations with Koc Holding Group of Companies.

The directions of the next strategy are to develop the relations with Turkey, and in this direction, mutual investments with foreign countries are possible, Erentok added.
