Azeri Accounting Chamber to attend VII meeting of Council of Heads of Supreme Finance Control Body of CIS member-countries

The next seventh meeting of the Council of Heads of Supreme Body of Finance Control of CIS member-countries (SBFC) will be held on September 5-6 in Minsk,Trend has been told in the Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan. During the meeting, the report on the activities of the Council over past period will be heard, discussions will be held on the interaction of SBFC with law-enforcement and other control bodies during implementation of inspection measures, as well as the role of SBFC in upgrade of the national legislation.

Azerbaijan will be represented at the meeting by the delegation of the Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan (AC) led by the chairman of AC Namik Nasrullayev. The head of will deliver a report on the role of Azerbaijan organ of financial control in upgrade of the legislation in the budget-finance sphere.

Within the meeting, it is intended to sign a decision on conducting parallel inspection of SBFC in the format of Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan-Russia over the effectiveness of using the bio-resources of Caspian Sea, as well as finances directed towards protection, conservation and effective use of sturgeon fish.

Azerbaijani AC has already prepared the same report on fish-farm activity of the ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, and included joint measures in the action plan for 2006. Azerbaijani and Russian Accounting Chambers and Accounting Committee for Control on Republic Budget of Kazakhstan have agreed up on joint decision regarding beginning of joint measures.
