An exhibition CIS, 15th Anniversary: Cooperation and Integration, initiated by CIS Intergovernmental Council is expected to be held in Moscow on October 25-28, 2006. The main aim of the forthcoming exhibition is the demonstration of the export potential of CIS member-states, as well as the demonstration of their economic achievements, achievements in science, education, culture, and health protection, Trend reports referring to a message spread by the Economic Development Ministry. The arrangement will be aimed at the support of mutual cooperation within CIS and the development of the cooperation based on equal rights.
The Cabinet of Ministers appointed the Entrepreneurship Development Department of Azerbaijan`s Economic Development Ministry the national operator on organization of the participation at the exhibition. During the exhibition, Azerbaijan will expose stands with the national achievements over the period of independence, as well as materials on the large-scale economic projects implemented and being implemented. Bout 20 subjects of the local entrepreneurship specialized in the field of construction, winemaking, perfume, cotton making, tourism, banking sector, etc. are expected to present the country at the forthcoming event.
Within the exhibition, the organization of measures on the subject CIA, 15th Anniversary, Results, Problems, and Perspectives is expected to be held within the exhibition as well.
