In September 2006 Koch Bank Azerbaijan headed ranking of dealers with dealer transactions in the total amount of AZN 18,095,809.34 in the government securities market (excluding repo-operations market) in accordance with the calculations by the Analytical Department of the BSE. The second leading dealer was UniBank which carried out transactions worth AZN 10,628,287.60, or AZN 7.467,521,74 less than the indicator of Koch Bank Azerbaijan. Bank of Baku rated third with AZN 7,417,232.90 of dealer transactions.
In September the amount pretending to take precedence in ranking of dealers grew compared to the past month. Therefore in August the leading amount of dealer operations totaled AZN 15,816,989.96; in September this amount was 1.14 times more. Furthermore, the number of dealers in the market in September remained steady at 6 dealers.
