(autoinsidernews) - Ford Motor has announced that it will unveil a revised and upgraded model of its Focus small car at the Detroit Auto Show. Ford is looking for the refreshed Focus to take advantage of the increased consumer interest in the U.S. small-car market. Ford spokesman Jim Cain said Ford with show the 2008 Focus at a time when small cars are the hottest cars going.
The 2008 Focus, while still riding on the platform of the current model, wi be given a thorough restyling inside and out, and will feature a two-bar version of the corporate three-bar grille. The Fusion will be available in sedan and coupe version, gone are both three- and five-door hatch models, reports Trend.
