SOFAZ has completed the elaboration of a long-term economic model for Azerbaijan, Trendreports. Shahmar Movsumov, the SOFAZ Executive Director, said during the today press-conference that it was the internationally-recognized organization, Oxford Economic, which assisted SOFAZ in the preparation of the economic model for the country. London-based Oxford Economic is specialized in economic modeling. According to him, the model includes economic results of the activity of the country over the last 6-7 years. The above-mentioned model has already been submitted to some state offices вЂ" Azerbaijan Economic Development Ministry, Finance Ministry, National Bank of Azerbaijan for further use. A memorandum to instructing in this issue was signed with BP a day or two ago. This modeling will have a positive effect on the strategy on using oil revenues. Since the country has different models, it may make different scenarios to determine tendencies on spending funds.
