Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend I.Khalilova / Starting in July, the Baku and Warsaw stock exchanges will begin to cooperate in exchanging information of the security markets of the two countries, said the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE), Khayal Abdinov on 28 June. The cooperation will be carried out on the basis of an information exchange agreement signed in 2007.
"Presently, we are working to attract experts to create our first stock index and the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) expressed readiness to provide their expert support," Abdionov said.
The WSE has developed well and their assistance will be useful for the BSE.
The name of the stock index will depend on the tool that will be taken into consideration. It may be state or corporate securities.
