Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend U.Ismaylova / The average monthly average wage in Azerbaijan in January to June totalled AZN 170.70, an increase of 26.4% from the same period of last year, a source stated at the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
The highest salaries were registered particularly in the extractive industry, financial and construction sectors.
In January to June, social payments in the amount of AZN 4.3 mln have been paid to employees in the production industry, electricity sector, in the fields of production and distribution of gas and water, transport and communications sectors.
