Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend U.Ismaylova. / The construction of a cargo terminal will commence at Zagatala Airport, north Azerbaijan, which opened in 2006.
The Turkish company Zema Inshaat ve Dish Tijarat will carry out the construction.
Along with the cargo terminal, there are plans to build a fuel-lubricant store, aworkshop to repair machines and subsidiary buildings at the airport.
The construction site size of the terminal of the airport, which is designed to serve 150 passengers in an hour, is 2,160sq m.
The building will offer all the facilities for the comfort of passengers, and there are plans to provide it with the necessary equipment meeting high standards.
At present the construction of a landing strip and platform is nearing an end.
