Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Aliyev / In January to August, Joint Venture and operating companies working in the onshore fields of Azerbaijan have produced more than 789,700 tons of oil, a decrease of 1.3% compared to the same period of last year, a source in State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) said.
In August the joint ventures and operating companies produced over 100,000 tons of oil.
The largest volume of oil production fell at the operating company Salyan Oil which is developing the contractual site "Kursang-Garabagli" - 212,200 tons.
The least oil production is obtained by the operating company Kura Valley - 34 tons.
