Georgia, Tbilisi /corr. Trend N. Kirskhalia / Georgia covers its gas demand at the expense of the supplies it receives from Azerbaijan, said the Energy Minister of Georgia, Alexander Khetaguri, on 17 October as a result of a Governmental meeting.
" Georgia is fully supplied with gas from Azerbaijan and the gas from Russia is only transported to Armenia," he said.
According to Khetaguri, Georgia and Azerbaijan continue talks regarding Azerbaijani gas prices. Currently Azerbaijani gas is sold to Georgia for $120 per thou cu m.
