Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 March / Trend / According to the forecasts of the specialists of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), the mineable reserves in the fields of 'Oil Stones' and 'Muddy Volcano' are assessed at 30mln tons, said the Head of Oil and Gas Production Department of the SOCAR, Mammad Agayev, said in his interview to the official press.
In 2008, 950,200 tons of oil are planned to be produced in the fields as compared to 942,300 tons in 2007. The gas production will total 65mln cu.m against 53mln cu.m in 2007. There plans to repair 12 wells and use 12 new wells, Agayev said.
At present, the funds of wells in the field equal 474 units, including 444 active and 28 inactive wells.
