Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 April / Trend / Azerbaijani pipelaying vessel Israfil Huseynov, owned by Caspian Sea Oil Fleet, commenced laying of pipeline in the Yuriy Korchagin field located in the northern part of the Caspian Sea, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) in which the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet is included reported on 29 April.
The work is being carried out at depth of 11-20m and is expected to be completed by 25 May.
The Yuriy Korchagin is developed by LUKoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft. The pipeline is being laid by McDermott Caspian Contractors Inc.
The diameter of the pipeline will comprise 325mm, its length - 57.86km.
