Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 October / Trend / The total volume of oil refining at Azerbaijani oil refineries made up 5.5mln tons in January to September 2008, while in the same period of 2007 it comprised 5.6mln tons, according to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
Oil products in Azerbaijan are produced at two Baku oil refineries with the total capacity of 20mln tons of oil per year. Both refineries are owned by SOCAR, which annually processes over 6mln tons of oil produced in the offshore and onshore fields through its own funds.
