Azerbaijan imported 266.5 million kilowatts-hours in 2008, or a 65.6-percent decrease from 2008. The total value of imported energy was $10.5 million, or a 55.1-percent decrease from 2007.
In 2008, cement clinkers accounted for 890,300 tons of import goods with a total value of $28.5 million.
Roughly 1.2 million tons of cement were imported with a total value of $55 million.
About 549,000 gas, water and electricity meters wee imported, or a 35.1-percent rise from 2007. The total value of the imported meters was 35.5 million.
