Uzbekneftegaz Company reduces extraction of oil and gas-condensate in January-September

Uzbekneftegaz national holding company reduced oil and gas-condensate extraction in January-September 2009 compared to the same period of 2008 up to 3.507 million tons.

According to the State Statistical Committee, gas-condensate extraction reduced 0.8 percent up to 1.730 million tons, oil - 8.9 percent up to 1.777 million tons.

Petrol production increased 10.8 percent - up to 1.199 million tons, kerosene - 13.6 percent up to 300,100 tons, diesel fuel - 4.6 percent up to 991,700 tons, fuel oil - 2 percent up to 398,400 tons, hydrocarbonic liquefied gas - 3.7 percent up to 188,000 tons. Oil bitumen reduced 7.3 percent up to 174,500 tons.

Uzbekneftegaz reduced oil and gas-condensate extraction by 2.5 percent up to 4.808 million tons in 2008. Extraction of gas-condensate increased 17.1 percent up to 2.256 million tons, oil extraction reduced 15 percent up to 2.552 million tons.

The State Statistical Committee does not inform about extraction of natural gas.

Uzbekneftegaz is monopolistic operator of Uzbek oil and gas complex. It was established in 1998.  The company unites six joint stock companies.
