SOCAR repaired 84,6 kilometer pipeline of a gas distribution system instead of planned 193 kilometers in the first quarter, the company said.
Emission of 1.38 million cubic meters of gas per year, equivalent to 20,600 tons of methane gas in the equivalent of CO2 was prevented.
Now SOCAR's ecology department is preparing environmental regulations for some enterpises of Azerigaz PU. Preparation of these documents will help to submit proposals. Their realization will contribute to environmental protection.
