In January- October, SOCAR (except joint ventures and operating companies) drilled 117,234 meters compared to 142,665 meters in January- October 2009, SOCAR said.
According to the report, 109,687 meters fell to operational drilling, 7,547 meters - exploratory drilling (including 1,471 meters - test drilling).
In October, SOCAR drilled 11,662 meters compared to 11,084 meters in October last year.
SOCAR drilled 168.200 meters in 2009 compared to about 203,000 meters in 2008. This figure was 190,376 meters in 2007.
