The Nabucco consortium is waiting to complete the environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) in the second quarter of 2012, Nabucco Gas Pipeline International GmbH told Trend.
The ESIA consultations in Nabucco transit countries are underway. The process is planned to be completed in the second quarter of next year.
The preparation of the ESIA documentation is already underway.
Last month, the Italian D'Appolonia S.p.A. (D'Appolonia) has been was appointed as the new ESIA adviser for the Nabucco Pipeline Project.
The company will deal with ensuring the harmonization of standards and requirements among international financial institutions and the preparation of all the necessary ESIA documentation.
