Iran has restored its place as OPEC's second major oil exporter, Shana reported quoting Iran's OPEC Governor Mohammad Ali Khatibi as saying.
The OPEC in its Annual Statistical Bulletin published in May put Nigeria ahead of Iran with 2.464 million barrels export per day.
According to OPEC, Iran exported 2.246 million cubic meters of oil per day in 2010.
"OPEC reviewed and changed its data," he said. "OPEC rated Iran as its second exporter with the export capacity of 2.583 million barrels per day."
