The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will deliver grants to Kazakh energy companies under the Business Advisory Service Program (BAS), the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies reported on Monday.
The BAS program is the EBRD project, supported by the Japanese government.
It offers the grants to local companies and state agencies for energy audit consulting services, implementation of the international standard ISO 50001 and energy management training in the field of energy conservation. The program delivers non-repayable grants for the implementation of consulting projects on energy saving technologies and conducting of energy audits.
According to the experts of the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, the EBRD program is a good opportunity for Kazakh professionals to adopt European experience in energy saving sphere and excellent financial support for small and medium businesses.
