Turkey announces tender to issue licenses to acquire gas distribution networks

The State Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey (EPDK) has announced a tender to grant licenses on the privatisation of 11 gas distribution networks in the eastern and southern provinces of the country, EPDK said on Wednesday.

The State Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey (EPDK) has announced a tender to grant licenses on the privatisation of 11 gas distribution networks in the eastern and southern provinces of the country, EPDK said on Wednesday.

The total cost of the tender is $14 million.

Licenses will be granted for a period of 30 years. Companies wishing to participate in the tender should contact the EPDK until Oct. 30, 2012.
