One of the leading producers of oil and gas equipment in Hungary DKG-East Company intends to establish an oil and gas equipment manufacturing enterprise in Kazakhstan, Kazakh National Oil and Gas Company KazMunaiGas reported.
The two companies signed memorandum of mutual understanding on this project within the frame of Investment Forum 'Establishment of new production facilities in the Western Kazakhstan' which took place in Aktau on September 24-26.
"Under this Memorandum KMG will provide necessary assistance within a frame of its competence for successful implementation of the project," the company said.
In the new enterprise it is planned to start the production of tank equipment, different types of filters, separators, shell and tube heat exchangers of "liquid-liquid", "liquid-gas", "gas-gas" types, processing units for oil and gas, pig launcher-receiver equipment for pipeline cleaning.
The planned capital expenditure will be about $15-20 million preliminary.
