A February 4 shareholder resolution prematurely terminated the authorities of a member of the Board of Directors of the Company, Xu Anping.
Simultaneously, the same decision elected a new member of the Board of Directors for a period from February 5, 2013 to November 25, 2015, Lu Gunsyun. This was indicated in a company statement.
Thus, the Board of Directors of MangistauMunayGas as of February 5 includes: Timur Bimagambetov Mustahievich - chairman; Cao Yamin - Board Member; Iskaziyev Kurmangazy Oryngazievich - Board Member; Lu Gunsyun - Board Member, Tong Xiaoguang - Board Member / Independent Director; Elemanov Bulat Daldaevich - Board Member / Independent Director.
99 percent of the shares of the MangistauMunayGas are owned by Mangistau Investments B.V. JV, which in turn is owned by the national holding company KazMunaiGas and the Chinese National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).
