Turkey needs investments worth $118 billion, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz was quoted today by Turkish TV channel TRT Haber as saying.
"The demand for investments is growing particularly in the energy sector, as far as the country's economy is being developed," the minister said.
Yildiz also said that large international companies must be involved in Turkey as long as the energy sector is being developed.
It was stated earlier that it is necessary to increase investments in the Turkish power sector for further growth and solving existing problems in this area until late 2013.
