Russia's Novorossiysk International Trade Sea Port shipped 38.19 million metric tons of oil in Jan.-June, 2015, or 4 percent less than in the same period of 2014 (39.76 million metric tons), said the message posted on the port's website.
Novorossiysk port shipped 16.7 million metric tons of petroleum products during the reporting period, or 14 percent more than in Jan.-June 2014, said the message.
In total, the port has shipped 70.19 million metric tons of various cargo in H1 of 2015, or 21 percent more than in the same period of 2014.
Novorossiysk port shipped 72.78 million metric tons of oil in 2014, compared to 91.74 million metric tons in 2013.
The port shipped 27.78 million metric tons of petroleum products in 2014, compared to 24.2 million metric tons in 2013.
In total, the port shipped 122.09 million metric tons of various cargo in 2014, compared to 129.48 million metric tons in 2013.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) ships its oil through the Novorossiysk port. Oil is delivered there via Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline.
