Kazakh KazTransOil exceeds plan for oil transportation

Kazakhstan's KazTransOil company has exceeded the plan for oil transportation and oil cargo turnover in Jan.-Sept. 2015, said the message from the company.

During the reporting period, the volume of oil transportation by KazTransOil alone stood at 36.73 million tons, or 2 percent more than the planned volume and 3 percent less than in the same period of 2014.

The consolidated volume of transportation of oil and petroleum products totaled 46.218 million tons, or 3 percent more than the planned volume and 3 percent less than in the first nine months of 2014.

This is while the oil cargo turnover by the KazTransOil company alone stood at 27.511 billion tons per kilometer, or 3 percent more than the planned volume and 2 percent more than in the first nine months of 2014.

The consolidated oil cargo turnover totaled 34.57 billion tons per kilometer, or 4 percent more than the planned volume and 3 percent more than in Jan.-Sept. 2014.

KazTransOil JSC is a subsidiary of Kazakhstan's KazMunaiGas national oil and gas company and is the national operator of Kazakhstan on the main oil pipeline.

The company manages the network of 5,400 kilometers long main oil pipelines and 2,000 kilometers long water lines.
