Kazakhstan plans to up oil output by 22 million tons

Kazakhstan plans to increase oil output to 102 million tons by 2030, Kazakh Energy Ministry said in a message.
Oil production in 2017 is expected to reach 80 million tons, the ministry said.

In 2015 oil production in Kazakhstan hit 79.46 million tons (1.7 percent decrease compared to 2014). In January-October 2016 oil production in the country reached 63.8 million tons (2.9 percent less than compared to the same period of 2015).

Kazakhstan's proven oil reserves as of early 2016 stood at 30 billion barrels, according to the BP Statistical Review of World Energy.
