The average price of North American crude oil was $66.4 per barrel on July 19, $0.46 more than on July 18, a source in Azerbaijan’s oil and gas market told Trend July 20.
The spot price for US crude oil WTI (Cushing), produced in the US state of Texas, was $69.42 per barrel on July 19, $0.64 more than the previous price. The density of WTI is 40 degrees API, sulfur content is 0.4-0.5 percent. This sort of oil is mainly used to produce gasoline and therefore the demand for it is high, particularly in the US and China.
The price of US crude oil WTS (Midland) was $55.27 per barrel on July 19, $0.51 less than the previous price. The density of WTS is at least 30 degrees API, sulfur content is 2.5 percent.
The cost of LLS light oil amounted to $70.67 per barrel on July 19, $0.52 more than the previous price. The density of LLS is 35.6 degrees API, sulfur content is 0.37 percent.
The price of American oil Mars was $67.55 per barrel on July 19, $0.03 less than the previous price. The density of Mars is 28.9 degrees API, sulfur content – 2.05 percent.
The price of North American oil Bakken was $69.42 per barrel on July 19, $0.64 more than the previous price. The density of Bakken is 39-40.9 degrees API, sulfur content – 0.17-0.2 percent.
The price of August futures for North American crude oil Nymex Light Sweet was $69.46 per barrel on July 19, $0.7 more than the previous price.
