KazTransOil reduces oil transportation by 1.3%

KazTransOil, the largest oil pipeline company of Kazakhstan, has reduced the volume of oil transportation by 1.3 percent in the first half of 2018, said a message from the company.

"The volume of oil transported via the pipelines owned by KazTransOil in H12018 stood at 22.427 million tons, which is 1.3 percent less than in the first half of 2017. Consolidated volume of transportation of oil and oil products amounted to 27.992 million tons, which is 3 percent less than in H12017," the company said.

The oil turnover via the company's pipelines amounted to 18.816 billion tons per kilometer in H12018, which is 0.8 percent less than in the first half of 2017, according to KazTransOil’s estimates.

"Consolidated oil turnover amounted to 22.843 billion tons per kilometer, which is 1 percent less than in the first half of 2017," the company said.

KazTransOil is a largest oil pipeline company of Kazakhstan, which provides services on oil transportation on the domestic market and for export.

KazTransOil JSC is an owner of the largest network of main oil pipelines and waterlines in Kazakhstan.

Oil transportation via the main oil pipelines is ensured by 37 oil pumping stations, 64 oil preheaters, tank farm for oil storage of oil with overall volume 1,414,200 cubic meters.
