In January-September 2018, Ukraine imported Azerbaijani oil for $300.5 million, the State Fiscal Service reported.
Azerbaijan, with a share of 94.62 percent, remains the leader among the countries supplying oil to Ukraine.
Azerbaijan is followed by Algeria (almost $7.2 million) and Iran ($7.1 million). The share of other countries accounted for $2.8 million.
In September, oil supply from Azerbaijan to Ukraine amounted to $26.5 million. Algeria did not ship to Ukraine in September, while imports from Iran amounted to $2.02 million. Oil delivery from the rest of the countries amounted to $359,000.
In total, in the first nine months of 2018, Ukraine imported oil for $317.6 million or 569,080 tons.
In 2017, Ukraine imported Azerbaijani oil for almost $376.9 million. Azerbaijan accounted for 85.22 percent of all oil supplies to Ukraine.
