Secretary of Iran's Aviation Companies Association Maghsoud Asadi Samani said that the problem of refueling of Iranian aircrafts has been solved.

"Iran's contracts with Airbus and ATR are still in place, the contracts haven't been annulled, and Iran is ready to follow the contracts immediately after the European manufacturers decide on selling the aircrafts," Samani told Trend.

The re-imposed US sanctions have hit Iran's aircraft industry alongside other important sectors.

Referring to the fueling problems of Iran's passenger planes at Lebanon and Turkey's airports, the official noted said the problem still exists, but Iran is trying to make sure there are no problems regarding the flights.

In addition to Turkey and Lebanon, most European countries have also refrained from fueling Iran’s planes in the last few months, after Iran got hit with US sanctions.
