Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz Bokhodirjon Sidikov and Worley Parsons Regional Director for Europe and CIS countries Andrew Woodhead discussed the creation of petrochemical cluster, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.
"The agenda includes discussion of joint projects and prospects for cooperation in the field of oil and gas processing, monetization of natural gas, the creation of a petrochemical cluster," the press service said.
Sidikov noted that cooperation with Worley Parsons is developing dynamically. The company is one of the strategic partners of Uzbekneftegaz in the field of engineering. Nowadays, there is a need to improve the efficiency of joint venture Worley Parsons Uzbekistan Engineering LLC.
The meeting also discussed a partnership in the training of specialists in project management and design of oil and gas facilities in the country.
Earlier it was reported that the French Total and the Russian Novatek plan by the end of March to decide on conducting exploration work to find oil and gas in Uzbekistan.
