Iran has not received $30 billion of oil revenues, for oil sold over the past 5 years, ex-president of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in an interview with Russia Today (RT) TV channel, Trend reports.
According to Ahmadinejad, $5 billion have also not been returned by an unidentified person in the UAE.
This statement made by the ex-president was not left unanswered.
The Iranian Oil Ministry said in a statement that Ahmadinejad's announcement is a ‘white lie’ and is far from truth.
The Oil Ministry also added that the statement about the unreturned sum of $5 billion is also not true.
"At best, it shows Mr. Ahmadinejad's ignorance, or the information given to him being false," the ministry said.
