Georgia's Oil Products Importers Union reveals LPG prices

The price of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) is 0.36 euro in Georgia, Trend reports referring to the Georgia's Oil Products Importers Union.

As reported, the cheapest LPG is in Russia (0.29 euro), while the most expensive is in France (0.87 euro).

In particular, in Azerbaijan, the price of the LPG is 0.35 euro, in Moldova - 0.49 euro, in Ukraine - 0.44 euro, in Turkey - 0.61 euro.

The price of the LPG in Latvia is 0.53 euro, in Lithuania - 0.55 euro, in Greece - 0.80 euro, in Norway - 0.73 euro, in the Netherlands - 0.84 euro, in India - 0.61 euro, in Italy - 0.61 euro, in Germany - 0.60 euro, in France - 0.87 euro, in Spain - 0.72 euro, in Poland - 0.50 euro, in the Czech Republic - 0.54 euro, in Estonia - 0.59 euro.

Import of liquid petroleum gas to Georgia in October 2019 amounted to 1,600 tons, which is similar to the indicator for September 2019.

From January through October this year, the import of LPG amounted to 14,300 tons, which is 2,400 tons more than in the same period last year (11,900 tons).

Import of liquid petroleum gas has also increased significantly due to its use as a motor fuel.

At present, Georgia has about 200 petrol stations with liquefied natural gas.
