JP Morgan expects global oil demand to near 100 mb/d in 2022

Global oil demand is expected to stand at 90.2 million barrels per day in 2020, reaching to 96.6 mb/d in 2021 and 99.8 mb/d in 2022, Trend reports with reference to the US JP Morgan Bank.

The Bank’s estimates show that the global oil demand amounted to 93.0 mb/d, 82.8 mb/d, 91.5 mb/d in Q1, Q2 and Q3 and is expected to be equal to 93.7 mb/d in Q4.

Monthly oil demand in 2020 is as follows: 96.4 mb/d in January, 93.5 mb/d in February, 89.1 mb/d in March, 77.6 mb/d in April, 82.5 mb/d in May, 88.3 mb/d in June, 90.8 mb/d in July, 91.0 mb/d in August, 92.7 mb/d in September, 92.8 mb/d in October and 93.8 mb/d in November. JP Morgan expects this figure to stand at 94.4 mb/d in December 2020.

As for 2021, the forecast quarterly output for world oil demand is 93.7 mb/d in Q1, 95.8 mb/d in Q2, 98.2 mb/d in Q3 and 98.6 mb/d in Q4.

The world oil demand is expected to stand at 91.9 mb/d in January, 94.9 mb/d in February, 94.5 mb/d in March, 94.9 mb/d in April, 95.1 mb/d in May, 97.3 mb/d in June, 98.0 mb/d in July, 98.6 mb/d in August, 97.9 mb/d in September, 97.7 mb/d in October, 98.6 mb/d in November and 99.5 mb/d in December.

World’s quarterly oil demand for 2022 is as follows: 98.2 mb/d in Q1, 99.2 mb/d in Q2, 100.7 mb/d in Q3 and 101.0 mb/d in Q4.

The global oil demand is forecast at 97.5 mb/d in January, 99.5 mb/d in February, 97.7 mb/d in March, 99.0 mb/d in April, 98.7 mb/d in May, 100.0 mb/d in June, 101.0 mb/d in July, 101.5 mb/d in August, 99.5 mb/d in September, 100.4 mb/d in October, 101.4 mb/d in November and 101.3 mb/d in December.
