Modern instrumentation and metrological equipment have been installed at the primary gas treatment unit at the Shurtan field in Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.
According to Uzbekneftegaz5 sets of measuring lines with a diameter of 426 millimeters and one set with a diameter of 530 millimeters were installed on the outlet gas pipelines of the separators of the gas pretreatment unit No. 1 of the Shurtan field in order to accurately measure the consumption of natural gas from gas fields of the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department.
It is reported that these built-in measuring lines are equipped with temperature, pressure, and differential pressure measuring devices based on internal control capabilities.
As a result, the signals coming from the primary measuring devices using the analog expansion module are processed on two Floboss-107 measuring devices and the natural gas consumption is calculated.
It was also noted that the commissioning of modern flow meters installed on the outlet gas pipelines of the separators will make it possible to determine the amount of natural gas transferred to management from the first stage of the primary gas treatment unit.
Uzbekneftegaz noted that the installation of instrumentation and metrological equipment was carried out by qualified specialists of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and management.
