Kazakhstan boosts petroleum oils export to Netherlands

Kazakhstan has exported 18,040 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 5.3 million euros to the Netherlands in November 2020, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s exported 181,611 tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 48.6 million euros to the Netherlands from Jan. through Nov. 2020.

Thus, the November volume of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to the Netherlands is 0.3 percent more than in volume compared to October 2020 (17,977 tons) and is 0.7 percent more than in Feb. 2020 (17,848 tons). No export was carried out in Jan. 2020.

November export value is also 3.02 percent less than in October 2020 (5.4 million euros) and is 24.4 percent less than in Feb. 2020 (7.05 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands amounted to $3.05 billion over the first 11 months of 2020, compared to $4.2 billion during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to the Netherlands amounted to $2.8 billion over the period from January through Nov. 2020, compared to $4.02 billion during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from the Netherlands amounted to nearly $194.7 million over the reporting period, compared to $201.4 million during the same period of 2019.
